Summer Happenings!

I am behind on my postings, but I just wanted to recap on our summer! We had a great summer! It is a little sad that it is over but we are looking forward to fall. Here is a brief overview;

We were excited to have my sister Mendy and her kids in town. It was my nephew Michaels birthday and we had a party! He loves motorbikes so I made him a motorbike track cake!
We didn't get to go camping this summer like we wanted, so in August we went camping at Pineview Reservoir. We were going to stay two nights, but after the first night and not getting much sleep, we decided to sleep in our own bed. But we spent the day at the reservoir and had a great time. We swam, rode bike, and roasted hotdogs and s'mores.


One of our most fun things to do this summer was to swim. Jacob and Brynlee both took swim lessons from Beazer Swim School in Kaysville. They loved it and both really progressed. We bought a swimming pool for our backyard that we have had fun playing in. It is a 10ft by 3ft pool and is perfect to play safely in the water. My Mom, Sisters, and even I swam in it too.
We also went to Uncle Ryan's and Aunt Tani's in Eagle Mountain to swim in their huge swimming pool. Unfortunately the day we planned it turned out to be really windy and cold so we didn't swim much, but we had fun visiting with all of the family there!
