Snowboarding Fun!

Doug's highlight of the year so far was having his brother Jeff fly here from Arkansas to go snowboarding for two whole days. Doug and Jeff left early both Friday and Saturday mornings and snowboarded until the resorts closed. They had tons of fun!

They went to Snowbird on Friday and The Canyons on Saturday. This was their favorite jump at the Canyons that they found at the end of the day. They had to hike quite a ways to get to it because the lift was closed, but they said it was worth it!

On Saturday the kids and I headed to Sundance where Doug's cousin David and his family live. They live very close to the ski resort and have a great tubing run. I had some trouble driving our van up their slippery snow packed driveway, but on the third attempt and David driving instead of me, we made it up to the house. Doug and Jeff met us there and then we went tubing. Jacob was quite brave to go on the huge tubing run with Doug, while Brynlee and I opted to tube on the kiddie hill. Doug's sister Beth and her family came to. Since Jeff was in town, we all went to Beth's house the next day for Sunday dinner. Doug's brother Ryan and his family met us there too. We had a great visit. Doug took Jeff to the airport early Monday morning. I am sure Jeff was quite excited to see his family!
