We had a great Christmas season and I am a little sad it is over. The kids had a ton of fun getting ready to celebrate Jesus' birthday and being good for Santa Claus(there was definitely room for improvement on that one though). But we spent Christmas Eve at my parents house and did our traditional Nativity pageant at my Grandma and Grandpa Nead's house. Jacob and Brynlee were the only kids, so Jacob was Joseph, Brynlee was Mary, a doll was baby Jesus, and my sister Kalie was the Donkey. We then sang Christmas carols and opened some presents. We made it home in time for Santa to visit our house to Jacob's relief. He had been quite worried that we would not make it in time and Santa would skip our house. For the first time since we have been married we spent Christmas morning at our house. It was a blast! Brynlee loved her new Tinkerbell table and Sleeping Beauty movie and playset. Jacob was quite excited for his new V-Smile and lightsaber. Doug was surprised and excited for his handheld GPS(which he ended up returning and getting a different one) and I loved my new excercise bike(don't worry, I really wanted it, Doug was not being rude). After all the excitement and playing with our new toys we headed back up to my parents for the rest of Christmas day. My brother Jeremy is in Mississippi on his missions and all of us were able to talk to him on the phone! That was pretty exciting. It was a great Christmas!
