Well I guess we couldn't make it through the Holidays without at least one trip to instacare. On the Saturday after Christmas we were still at my parents house and Jacob was running in their tiled kitchen. He was going pretty fast and couldn't slow down with his slippery socks on. His feet went out from underneath him and he smacked his chin on the ground. His chin split open and was bleeding a ton. He was in a lot of pain, but he did really good as Doug and I took him to an instacare in Layton. I was so impressed how calm he was and didn't even hardly flinch when they gave him the shot to numb it before putting the stitches in. He recieved 5 stitches and held perfectly still. He did a lot better then both Doug and I as we got a little light headed and had to keep taking turns holding his hand so the other one could sit down or walk around. When we went back to Grandma's Jacob fell asleep and was quite hungry when he woke up. But when he fell he bit both sides of his tounge pretty good so it was quite painful for him to eat. Poor guy! He had a rough day, but it sure didn't keep him from running around and rough housing just a few hours later!
