We can't get enough of baby Mason! He is so sweet and has such kissable cheeks! His first month of life went really fast and I just want to recap.
When we left the hospital he had lost a few ounces and weighed 8 lbs even.
(First bath at home. Was not a huge fan of it!)
At his one week appointment he was back up to 8 lbs 4 ounces and at his two week he was 8 lbs 11 oz.
I took him in this past week to have his herniated belly button checked out and he weighed 11 lbs 7 oz. The doc said his belly button had a very large hernia but it causes no harm and will hopefully heal up on its own. If it does not then it can be fixed before he goes to kindergarten.
When he was 11 days old I took him to my sister-in-law Beth's house for some newborn pictures. She did a great job and we loved how they turned out! She even made sure that Doug got one he really liked as well!(Bet you can't guess which one that is!)

Mason was such a trooper on our very long road trip! It was fun for lots of family to see him so young! He loved being held by everyone and got to the point where he would wake up as soon as we put him down!
He about has his nights figured out and will sleep 5 hours straight before waking up! It is very nice. He gets lots of attention during the day. Jacob and Brynlee have been so great holding him all the time when I can't! I really appreciate them stepping up and helping out a lot! Isaac loves Mason, sometimes a little too much, but Mason puts up with it pretty good.
His blessing day was very special! The Nead family(my mom's side of the family) was having a reunion that same week and Mendy and her kids were here, my grandparents that are staying in St. George for the summer were here, and lots of other family. So we decided to bless him while everyone was here. Beth and her kids, Ryan, and Kevin and his family were also able to come up. Doug gave Mason a very special blessing. Afterwards we came to our house for lunch. It was great to have everyone here for Mason's special day! Beth also took some great pictures of Mason in his blessing suit.
