Brynlee turns 5!

Our little Brynlee has turned 5! We celebrated all weekend, starting on Friday with a friend birthday party. She invited lots of girls from the neighborhood and was excited to have her cousins Brooklin, Haley, Michael, and Nathan come during their visit for spring break. She also had her cousin Payton and Tay who lives close by that were able to come. I was very grateful to have lots of help for the party. Doug, my sisters Mendy and Camillia, and my cousin Laura were all great helps. It was a bakery birthday party where we dipped strawberries and crackers in chocolate, decorated cupcakes, decorated our own aprons! After opening presents Doug had set up a treasure hunt for the girls to find their party bags. They all seemed to have fun and Brynlee was thrilled with all of the great gifts she received!

The next day we tried to go to the RSL vs LA Galaxy soccer game, but were bummed to find it was sold out when we got there. So instead we went to Leatherbys for ice cream. Brynlee received a special birthday scoop with a Happy Birthday song!Sunday was her actual birthday. It started out a special day as we went to the blessing of my youngest sister Kalie's new baby Tyler. Later that night we had a family birthday with cake and ice cream. Brynlee had a great weekend and loved all of her gifts. She was especially excited for all of the Barbie's she received.

What a fun birthday party for the children to decorate their own aprons and cupcakes. I can imagine it was a very busy event. We send love and hugs to Brynlee and are glad we get to see the pictures of her special day.
