Well, Doug is officially not in his 20's. He turned 30 on March 24th. We were all excited to celebrate with him. I wanted to plan a big surprise party for him, but that is when I thought we would be in our house, so I asked Doug what he wanted to do. His answer: Attend the BYU vs. Utah Rugby game. We invited some family to go with us and had a great time. We had never been to a Rugby game but we really enjoyed it. It is pretty intense. Besides Isaac, even the kids seemed to enjoy it. We then came back to the house for ice cream cake and open presents. The kids could hardly wait for him to open his presents. They also had a great time decorating his birthday sign! I love you Doug and feel so blessed to be a part of your life. And I look forward to your next 30 years!

It has been a long time since we have been together on your birthday to celebrate with you, but your day is still special to us and you are always in our thoughts. Do you remember the treasure hunts for your special birthday present? Last week I was sorting photographs and enjoyed looking at pictures taken on your 8th birthday and baptism day that followed. What a cute boy!
