Grandpa Nead's 76th Birthday!

The day after Thanksgiving we had a big surprise party for my Grandpa Nead. He turned 76 a few days earlier so he wasn't suspecting a thing. We missed making a big to do for his 75th last year so we made up for it this year. We had it at the church and did a 50's theme where we all dressed in costume. Lots of friends and family came. It was a great time and I think he really enjoyed it. He used to drive a Tug Boat called the Helen B for his profession down the Colombia Gorge, so for his birthday cake I made the Helen B. Definitely not Ace of Cakes material but not too bad for a beginner. My Grandpa really enjoyed it! It was fun to see his reaction!
