Summer at a glance!

We have had a great summer. It has been busy and I have not had a chance to post much of it. So here is what we have been up to this summer.

Family Reunion at Wolfcreek Resort

For our Nead family reunion we spent a few days at Wolfcreek resort in Eden. We had a great time! Isaac was only a couple weeks old, but he did great! Doug took a day off of work and him and Jacob and Brynlee enjoyed swimming, playing racketball, and tennis. My parents, Mendy and her four children, Camillia and Spencer and their baby, Kalie, my Aunt Laura and her family, and my Aunt Colleen were the only ones that were able to come this year but it was a great time!

Swimming Lessons
Jacob jumping off the diving board. He loved this!
Brynlee floating on her back. She did a lot better than this picture shows, but this is all I had.

One thing that I had been stressing about this summer was swimming lessons. In the past we have done them just at the rec center and I felt that my kids were not learning much and not advancing much. My good friend Debbie told me about this place in Kaysville that does private lessons called Beazer swim lessons. We loved it! Both Jacob and Brynlee learned a ton and they both advanced to the next levels after just one time in that level! I highly recommend it!

Hogle Zoo

We were able to go to the Zoo a couple of times this summer. Once before Isaac was born and then just last week. Jacob and Brynlee love going. This last time was especially fun because there was a baby elephant(we couldn't see it yet, but we saw lots of pictures) three baby tigers, a baby giraffe, and the baby arangatange. The first time Kalie went with us and both times Camillia and her baby Tay came!
Discovery Gateway Museum
I have started doing a preschool for Jacob and Brynlee on Mondays and Wednesdays and then Fridays I will take them on a fieldtrip. Our first fieldtrip was to Discovery Gateway. We have not been there for a couple of years, so both Jacob and Brnylee really enjoyed checking everything out. Our second fieldtrip was to the zoo.

You have had a busy and fun summer. Jacob and Brynlee are lucky to have such a nice teacher for preschool.
